The executive secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP), Rander Peña, held a strategic meeting with representatives of ALBA Movements with the objective of establishing a common road map focused on political, ideological and communication formation.
During the meeting, Peña stressed that this collaboration seeks to “continue consolidating the union between our peoples”, through initiatives that promote the articulation of efforts and strengthen collective understanding as part of the principles shared by the countries and movements of the block.
The Executive Secretary stressed that this proposal contemplates the design of training programs and spaces that allow members of ALBA Movements to deepen the foundations of Bolivarian socialism, as well as to move forward in the construction of a more solid regional integration.
Peña also reiterated the commitment of the Executive Secretariat of ALBA-TCP to the promotion of the agreements emanating from the social movements that make up ALBA Movements. “Count on the Executive Secretariat of ALBA-TCP to be able to promote all the agreements that each of the social movements that make up ALBA Movements have incorporated and defined as a work agenda,” he said.
This initiative reinforces the ties of cooperation and solidarity between the peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean, and reaffirms the role of ALBA as a platform for unity, joint development and sovereignty in the region.
