ALBA-TCP announces the appointment of the new Executive Secretary of the Alliance

The member countries of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA-TCP) announced the appointment of Rander Peña as the new Executive Secretary.
Peña will assume the secretariat with the firm intention of continuing with the work undertaken to achieve the 2030 Strategic Agenda of ALBA-TCP, with special emphasis on the initiatives of AGROALBA, ALBA AZUL and the ALBA-TCP Development Cooperation Agency.
The announcement was made by ALBA through a statement published on its web portal, in which it also thanked him for the work and dedication of Jorge Arreaza Montserrat for moving forward with solid steps in the objectives of the Strategic Agenda, giving new impetus to ALBA-TCP.
They also wished him success in his new roles.
“The member countries congratulate the new Executive Secretary, who is responsible for consolidating the proposals and tasks issued by the Heads of State and Government and ministerial authorities, while expressing all their support in his new administration,” the statement said.
The Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA-TCP) is made up of Venezuela, Cuba, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Dominica, Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Grenada and Saint Lucia.
