ALBA-TCP ratified its support and commitment to the Government of President Arce in Bolivia

The Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP) ratified this Wednesday its support and commitment to the government of the President of Bolivia, Luis Arce, while congratulating the president and the people of that country for defeating the coup plans in a few hours, following the extraordinary virtual meeting of Heads of State and Government to denounce the attempted coup d'etat in that nation perpetrated last June 26.

The final declaration of the conclave also reaffirms that Latin America is a Zone of Peace and demands “that the government of President Milei cease immediately the harassment and aggression against the legitimate government of Bolivia, as well as the insults against other ALBA-TCP countries.”

“We alert the world that the Argentine president is deploying a policy with imperialist inclinations towards progressive and left-wing governments, which only encourage hatred, polarization and destabilization of worthy and sovereign peoples,” the statement says.
