The member countries of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP) reiterated in a statement their repudiation of the illegal actions of the State of Israel by once again assaulting the so-called “Freedom Flotilla” in international waters, which sought to deliver humanitarian aid to the Palestinians.
“A little over a month ago, ALBA-TCP strongly condemned the attack in international waters on the 'Freedom Flotilla', an initiative of solidarity and humanism towards the Palestinian people suffering the genocide perpetrated by Israel, the occupying Power,” the regional block announced this Tuesday in a strong letter.

Today, once again, the Israeli government is once again attacking this voluntary mission, which only seeks to provide humanitarian aid to a people subject to famine and desolation, intercepting and confiscating the boat “Madleen”, thus demonstrating its true intentions of extermination against men, women and children who defend themselves only with admirable dignity, against the infamous cruelty of their executioners.
Thus, the Israeli State continues to commit the worst atrocities in the contemporary world before the astonished eyes of governments and international organizations, in blatant violation of International Law, International Humanitarian Law and the purposes and principles of the United Nations Charter.
The member countries of the Alliance will not stop calling on the international community to repudiate and condemn this arbitrary, illegal and terrorist act and will continue to express all their solidarity with Gazans at this time of struggle for life and survival.
Palestine belongs to the Palestinians!
