This Thursday, February 29, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, denounced that imperialism and the Venezuelan opposition are planning to stop “stealing and dismembering CITGO”, a company that belongs to all Venezuelans.

In this regard, during the Great Caravan and March for 20 Years of Commander Chávez's Anti-Imperialist Declaration, he denounced that the United States government denies Venezuela its legitimate defense before the courts with the CITGO case.

“The criminals with the last names come with the plan to dismember CITGO. Alert! They kidnapped CITGO, they deny us the right to defense in the gringo courts; the loot was distributed by (Juan) Guaidó, the Leopoldo López, (Henrique) Capriles, the (María Corina) Machado, the (Antonio) Ledezma, the loot of billions of dollars was distributed, more than 5 billion physical dollars were stolen; the company CITGO costs, its current value It is worth more than 12 billion dollars and they have the plan, as I denounce it, in the coming days to steal and dismember CITGO in revenge against the people of Venezuela,” he said.

For this reason, he assured that the greatest lesson the People can give to these criminals is not to let them return to political power in Venezuela.

“The greatest answer that this people are going to give to these criminals is that they will never return to political power in Venezuela, but the Piti Yankees, the traitors of criminal names, will never return (...) Whatever they do in Miami with CITGO, thieves, whatever they do, the People will give them a biblical lesson this year 2024 and will never return,” he said.
