Ali Voz de Pueblo arrives at the Alberto de Paz y Mateos Theater

The Ministry of Popular Power for Culture in combination with the National Theater Company (CNT) extended the invitation to enjoy the musical work, “Ali, Voice of the People”, which will be presented at 5:00 in the afternoon, at the Alberto de Paz y Mateos Theater, under the direction of Rufino Dorta.

In this tribute to the town's singer, Ali Primera, the emerging cast and Laboratory of the CNT will perform, who will take a walk through the most emblematic songs of the Falconian composer. Each character will embody daily Venezuelan life, such as the police, journalists, the worker, the informal merchant, the housewife and the students.

The work will combine the stories of a low-class Caracas family, the relationship of some journalism professionals, the abuse of power of police officers and the life of a student musician, who is the character who encompasses all the situations based on the music of Ali Primera with the renowned themes: Cardboard Ceilings, Open-Break, No Enough Prayer, Tin Marin, among others.

The audience present at the theater will travel to the past, to the era of the 70s and 80s to witness on stage the struggle between social classes that was drawn during the course of the play through music, songs and a choreographic display that transmits a message of union and hope in the midst of social division.
