AN announces extension for the nomination of candidates for magistrates of the Supreme Court

The Judicial Nominations Committee announced this extension for the reception of documents from those legal professionals interested in holding positions of magistrates, director of the National School of the Judiciary and head of the Inspectorate of the Supreme Court of Justice.
According to a press release from the National Assembly, the deadline for nominating candidates ended last Saturday, but it will run until next Wednesday, June 10, from 9:00 in the morning to 4:00 in the afternoon. The Bolivian Museum, located on the corner of Pajaritos de El Silencio, is maintained as a reception center.
This process began in the Plenary of April 21, when the president of the National Assembly (AN), Deputy Jorge Rodríguez, announced the existence of vacancies available in the Judiciary, for reasons of resignation, retirement and other responsibilities.
Once this extension is over, the selection process of the candidates and candidates eligible for the above-mentioned positions begins, in accordance with the provisions of the Organic Law of the Supreme Court and in accordance with the powers conferred by the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
