AN extended until this Friday the 13th reception of applications for positions of the Citizens' Power

The president of the Citizens' Power Nominations Committee of the National Assembly (AN), Deputy Giuseppe Alessandrello, reported that this parliamentary body agreed to extend the deadline for submitting credentials until next Friday, March 13 at 10:00am for positions of the Citizen Power.

At the beginning of the regular session held this Monday, March 09, at the Federal Legislative Palace, in a right of speech, he stated that “once the estimated time is closed, the evaluation of them will begin, as indicated in the schedule”.

He commented that the Committee received requests for extensions, in order to meet the required safeguards for the positions of the Citizens' Power: Attorney General of the Republic and Ombudsman.

Regarding the process of receiving applications, Alessandrello highlighted that a record has been broken in the number of applications received to date from those interested in applying for the above-mentioned positions compared to the previous call.
