AN paid tribute to Commander Hugo Chávez 12 years after his planting

The National Assembly (AN) approved, by an obvious qualified majority, the Draft Agreement commemorating the 12th anniversary of the Passage to Immortality and Sowing of the Eternal Commander Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías, leader of the Bolivarian Revolution.

“His ideology, his legacy still speaks to us, twelve years after his departure we still have to fight for the Bolivarian Revolution, we have to unite around President Nicolás Maduro Moros to continue this fight to change the meaning, direction and magnitude of the vectors of globalization and postmodernity,” said Deputy Cristóbal Rojas.

For her part, the parliamentarian María León highlighted the strength, courage and feminist character of the Supreme Commander.

“That the greatest gratitude I have from my Commander is to have declared himself a Bolivarian Socialist and a feminist; what's more, I maintain that the greatest contribution is to have declared himself a feminist,” León emphasized.

In this regard, he highlighted the respect that Chávez had for humanity as the central axis for building a path full of social equality for Venezuelans and Venezuelans.
