Anna Julia Finas Youth Theatre Company will pay tribute to the poet Aquiles Nazoa

The Youth Company of the Anna Julia Finas Theater Laboratory will pay tribute from May 22 to 24 of this year to the Venezuelan writer Aquiles Nazoa, in connection with the commemoration of the 105th anniversary of his birth, where they will offer three performances of the work of poetry entitled “Achilles, the last minstrel”.

The appointment will be at 5:00 in the afternoon, in the Horacio Peterson Room of the National Experimental University of the Arts (UNEARTE). The staging will take place under the direction of Rafael Gil and the dramaturgy of Luigi Sciamanna.

Also, on May 17, a “Cantata Aragüeña” will be held, which will feature poets who live in the state of Aragua, who will add their voices to the celebration of the creative word of Emauris Bolívar, Emma Rodríguez, María Luisa Gómez, Emalida Viloria, Julia Liendo and Guillermo Cadrazco at the Casa de la Cultura de Maracay.

During 2024, the play was fruitful at the Alberto de Paz y Mateos Theater. This time, they return to take a tour of Nazoa's work in order to highlight his contributions to poetry, humor and social criticism.
