The Anti-Fascist International, Costa Rica, Bolivia and Mexico chapters expressed their strongest repudiation of the accusations of the United States (USA) against the constitutional president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros.

In the text, the organization stresses that this measure represents an imperialist provocation that violates fundamental principles of international law. They stress that this action does not seek justice, but rather constitutes a grotesque media maneuver designed to distract world public opinion from the internal failures of the U.S. government.

In addition, it is reported that this offensive is part of a systematic strategy of aggression, which includes sanctions, blockades and covert operations. All these actions, they stress, are aimed at undermining Venezuelan sovereignty without succeeding in subduing the popular will .

For its part, the same organization in its Mexican chapter stated that it is “more worthy of a cartoon than of a State that claims to respect international law”, as well as complacent with opposition extremism that has already been defeated at the polls.

In the chapter on Bolivia, they expressed “this absurdity not only reflects a high degree of arrogance and hatred, but also evidences the constant attempt of the United States to subjugate the peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean.”

They also recalled that “history is full of examples in which the United States has tried to subjugate our peoples: from the military dictatorships imposed by the CIA to the economic blockades that have suffocated the economies of countries such as Cuba, Nicaragua and Venezuela.”
