Anzoátegui: eight schools were rehabilitated and equipped

A total of eight schools in the state of Anzoátegui were equipped with furniture and uniforms, after rehabilitation carried out by the Military Community Brigades for Education and Health (BRICOMILES).

In this regard, the regional director of the Center for Educational Quality, Adriana Sandonato, reported that in the Simón Bolívar municipality, the state's metropolitan area, the schools EU Julio Camejo, Liceo Bolivarian, Mercedes Pérez Freites, U.E.N. Dr. José Tadeo Arreaza Calatrava, UEN Luis Beltrán Prieto Figueroa, UE Cecilio Acosta and UE Simón Bolívar March 29 were equipped.

While in the southern area, two schools were equipped in the Simón Rodríguez municipality, UE Dr. Juan Rafael Hernández Pares and UE Simón Rodríguez.

The work carried out consists of waterproofing, improvements to the electrical system, sanitary system and general painting, and the intervention of the courts to strengthen sports and recreational activities.

Meanwhile, the furniture delivered consists of acrylic boards, visitor chairs, hoses, wheelbarrows, desks, garden tools and sports kits.

“To optimize the School Food Program (PAE), freezers, refrigerators, cylinders, ovens, cookers, domestic and industrial blenders and kitchen utensils were delivered. Finally, he mentioned that kits were given to students with shoes, uniforms and backpacks in the same schools,” the Government reported.
