Apure: CICPC arrested a subject for theft of CANTV cables

Members of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC), who are prominent in the state of Apure, were able to arrest a 20-year-old man for illegal trade in strategic material belonging to the state company CANTV (Compañía Anónima de Téléphones de Venezuela).

The information was provided by the Government through investigations carried out by officials and the arrest of Johaiber Sosa, in the San Fernando parish, who was dedicated to stealing telephone wiring, with the purpose of commercializing it, jeopardizing service to communities.

“They also explained that after the subject's arrest, traces of wiring were located on him. The case was left to the order of the corresponding Public Prosecutor's Office in the Public Prosecutor's Office”
