After four intense days of enriching training and performances, the 26th Aragua Guitar Encounter concluded its edition on Sunday, May 11, with an emotional tribute to the unforgettable maestro Luis Quintero. The emblematic and impressive church of Choroní, with its colonial architecture and atmosphere of spiritual retreat, was the perfect setting for this special occasion. Its centuries-old walls resonated with music, creating an environment of deep connection between artists and the public.
In a display of talent and sensitivity, teachers and participants combined their skills in a lively and memorable musical performance, interpreting a universal repertoire that encompassed significant works by various composers, living up to the legacy of the honoree.
Soloists, duets, trios and ensembles performed madrigals, waltzes and other genres, imbuing the environment with a rich palette of emotions. This repertoire also served as a delicate tribute to mothers in their day, adding an extra layer of sensitivity to the evening.
A soft nostalgia, typical of the culmination of such a significant meeting, was felt between participants and organizers. However, this feeling in no way diminished the enthusiasm for sharing the techniques learned, the advances achieved and the deep passion that drives each musician to play the guitar.
Beyond the presentation of each piece of music, the participants briefly shared their personal experiences, highlighting the creation and strengthening of bonds of brotherhood. These moments raised the human dimension of the event, consolidating the spirit of collaboration that characterizes this important musical event in Aragüeña.
The Camerata de Guitarras de Venezuela pleasantly surprised the public with its outstanding participation.
Eduardo Briceño, general producer of the event, expressed his deep satisfaction with the fulfillment of all the objectives set for this edition, from the initial planning to the final execution.
He sincerely thanked the commitment and dedication of the entire team that accompanied him during these four days. He also recognized the invaluable trust of teachers and participants.
