Security forces are deployed at different strategic points in the state of Aragua, such as the Maracay Terminal, Alcabala de las Cocuizas and the Alcabala de El Limón, to ensure the safety of seasonal workers who return home after enjoying the Carnival.
The operation has officials from Civil Protection, Aragua Firefighters, Bolivarian National Police (PNB) and Bolivarian National Guard (GNB).
Vacationers from the coastal towns of Cata, Ocumare, Cuyagua and Choroní began returning Monday afternoon, under the supervision of the authorities, who closely monitor compliance with safety measures such as the use of belts for those who travel in vehicles, the use of safety equipment by motorized vehicles, and the prohibition of driving while drinking alcoholic beverages.
The president of the Girardot Municipal Council, Normedio Pariata, indicated that the security operation deployed in the capital of Aragüeña covers different aspects such as crime prevention, emergency care, traffic regulation and preventive guidance for seasonal workers, for which purpose surveillance measures were reinforced in key tourist areas such as beaches, spas, national parks, squares and other areas with a high influx of visitors.
As part of the Carnival 2025 operation, the Drive for Life campaign was developed at the Maracay Terminal, which seeks to make carriers aware of the importance of complying with traffic regulations, accompanied by the supervision of the operation of public transport units.
