Aragueño cyclists present at the 2026 Pan American Road Championship

A group of cyclists from the state of Aragua will be part of the Venezuelan delegation that will participate in the C Pan-American Road Cycling Championship 2026, an international event that will be held in Colombia from March 16 to 22.
The city of Montería, capital of the department of Córdoba, will host this important continental competition that will bring together the best exponents of road cycling in the Americas. Among the athletes called up by the national team, five Aragueño cyclists stand out: María Joaquina Sánchez, Eriannys Linares, José Pérez, Rikeyberth Alvarado and Manuel Barreto, who will seek to highlight the name of Venezuela in the different events of the championship.
In the men's youth category, José Pérez, Rikeyberth Alvarado and Manuel Barreto were named, while María Joaquina Sánchez and Eriannys Linarez will compete in the women's national youth team.
The Pan American Road Championship represents a valuable opportunity for Venezuelan cyclists to measure their competitive level in front of delegations from all over the continent and continue their development process within international cycling.
