The 2026 Americas Series kicked off with victories for Argentina, Colombia and Panama.

Club Daom representing Argentina beat Willemstad Cannons de Curaçao 8-7 in extra training at the Estadio Monumental de Caracas Simón Bolívar.

Pitcher Robinson Maestre won the victory, while Brayan Pérez took the loss.

In the other match, Caimanes de Barranquilla representing Colombia beat Leones de León de Nicaragua 5-2 at the Jorge Luis García Carneiro stadium in Macuto, in the state of La Guaira.

Pitcher José Salvador won the victory and the setback went to Alfredo Villa.

For their part, Navegantes del Magallanes representative of Venezuela was unable to respond to the replacement of Metropolitan Eagles of Panama and ended up giving up 8 races for 7, at the Monumental Simón Bolívar stadium.

The tournament opens with a free-for-all phase. Seven teams, six games per club. The top four in the table advance to the semifinals, with pre-set crosses: 1st vs 4th and 2nd vs 3rd. In a single match, the finalists, the third place and the subsequent champion are defined.

Pitcher Bryan Cáceres won the victory, while Ronnie Williams took the loss.
