The Argentine Federation of Petroleum, Gas and Biofuel (FasipeGyBio) began an indefinite strike this Thursday in rejection of the restoration of the income tax.

The force measure, which covers 22,000 employees, could affect the supply of fuel at service stations and airports, especially at the AeroParque international terminals (Jorge Newberry and Ezeiza airports).

“The overwhelming of oil workers, directly harmed by this tax measure of Law 26,176, discriminates against our representatives, punishing purchasing power, quality employment and the full development of an activity such as the energy sector, strategic for the country's economic progress,” said the Federation.
