Argentine justice investigates evangelical pastor close to Milei for money laundering

Patricio Sabadini, attorney general of the city of Resistencia in Argentina, reported that Jorge Ledesma, leader of the International Christian Church, is being questioned after declaring that the funding for the “Portal of Heaven” church came from a “miracle”.

This temple was inaugurated over the weekend by President Javier Milei during his first official visit to Chaco and, according to the Sputnik website, the Argentine president has stayed close to Ledesma and, with it, to the evangelical church.

Sabadini explained that his objective is to determine the origin of the funds used to build the religious site, which cost 100 million dollars, since, according to Ledesma, this sum miraculously appeared in his safe, since inside it he kept 100,000 Argentine pesos that were transformed into 100,000 dollars.
