At the Patria Olympic Stadium in Bolivia, Caracas FC defeated Independente Petrolero 2-3 and remains undefeated and as the leader of group E of the Copa Sudamericana.

The Avila club's first goal in the 4th minute came through Francisco Rodríguez on his own doorstep. The second goal was scored by Adrián Fernández with a shot at the entrance of the box in the 15'.

The local team managed to tie the match at the start of the second half, however, the Ávila Reds went on the attack and at 67' Wilfred Correa scored the winning goal after catching the rebound of his first header attempt in the area.

With 8 points and no losses, the team led by Henry Meléndez is the leader of Group E in the absence of the result of the match between Botafogo and Racing to complete the fourth round this Wednesday.
