Asphalt Plan 2026 will place more than 3,500 tons on the Magdaleno-Güigüe highway

Within the framework of the Aragueñity Plan, promoted by the Government of the State of Aragua, in coordination with the Ministry of Popular Power for Transport (MPPT), the rehabilitation, preventive and corrective maintenance of the Magdaleno - Güigüe highway began formally, a work that involves the installation of more than 3,500 tons of asphalt, in order to guarantee optimal and passable roads for the people.

The president of the state company Vías de Aragua, Gerardo Rozo, led the start of the work and highlighted the magnitude of this project, which is part of the 2026 Asphalt Plan.

“Today we are on the Magdaleno - Güigüe highway, beginning these very important works on this main road artery that connects us with the state of Carabobo. Today we are placing more than 200 tons of asphalt, out of a total of 3,500 that will be poured into this section,” he said.

In this way, the Regional Government provides a timely response to the clamor of transporters, producers and families who live in the area, he said.

Rozo also extended deep thanks to the National Executive for the approval of the economic resources that make it possible to carry out these infrastructure works.

“Thanks to the continued support of the President (E) of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez; the Minister of Transportation, Jacqueline Fanía and our spokesperson for the Aragüeñity, Joana Sánchez, who have prioritized road recovery for the well-being of the Aragüeño people,” he emphasized.
