The Ministry of Popular Power for Transport and the Government of Anzoátegui reported that the recovery work on Troncal 11 is progressing at full speed and 16 of the 26 kilometers planned have already been rehabilitated, to optimize mobility on the Clarines-Valle Guanape axis, which favors communities in the western part of the state.
Through the social network Instagram, they indicated that the recovery involves the installation of more than 37,000 tons of asphalt, which has made it possible to improve traffic conditions and facilitate access to nearby agro-productive spaces.
They also stressed that the project is aimed at strengthening commercial activity and regional exchange.
According to Governor Luis Marcano, rehabilitation is part of a comprehensive infrastructure plan that prioritizes connectivity and road safety. “The work is being carried out in coordination with national bodies, guided by the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro,” he said.
In addition, he said that these works have had a positive impact on strategic corridors for the regional economy. “In four years of management, nearly half a million tons of asphalt have been applied to different roads in the state, consolidating a sustained process of modernization of the land transport network,” he said.
