This Sunday, August 24, in Venezuela, the Great Day of Enlistment of the Bolivarian National Militia, convened by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, continues in response to the threats made by imperialism against the country's sovereignty and peace.

“Tomorrow, Sunday, we will continue, as announced, in the Bolivar squares, the main squares of all the municipalities of the country. I enlist because I love my country; together with your family, together with your community, get ready and join the ranks,” he said.

The president announced the beginning of the enlistment of the National Militia after the deployment of naval and air forces by the United States in the Caribbean Sea, under the pretext of the fight against drug trafficking, an action that has been rejected by the president and peoples of the region.
