The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, announced the extradition from Spain of Gerso
Issac Guerrero Flores, brother of the criminal Héctor Guerrero Flores, alias the “Boy” Guerrero.
In this regard, he described the judicial act
as a “triumph obtained by the Public Ministry”, and assured that this
arrest is in addition to that of Gheiketh Josués Guerrero Flores, another brother of the “Niño” Guerrero, who is being prosecuted and deprived
of liberty.
Saab recalled that the attack against this
gang was carried out in two stages, the first consisting of the location of its
leaders and the dismantling of the criminal organization, in which
67 arrest warrants were issued, and 28 members were arrested; and the second, which began after the takeover
of the Tocorón prison, which meant the dismantling of the gang's financial muscle.
“16 people involved have been arrested, of whom 14 are in
the trial stage, another four have been charged at the
prosecutor's office, there are 56 citizens with an arrest warrant to be executed and 48 have a red
alert from Interpol,” he added.
