National authorities designed the Comprehensive Care Plan for Public Services in Health Centers, through the creation of work brigades composed of various public works and service offices.

This was reported by the sectoral vice-president of Public Works and Services, Juan José Ramírez, after a meeting with the Minister of Popular Power for Health, Nuramy Gutiérrez, and authorities from ministries such as Aguas, as well as CORPOELEC and others.

At the meeting, a Special Waterproofing Plan was designed in health centers through the Community Roof Plan, in addition to the incorporation of an Environmental Sanitation Brigade for comprehensive health care, Minister Ramírez reported on his Instagram account.

“Today, the Sectorial Vice Presidency for Public Works and Services began, on instructions from the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez, the debate on a Comprehensive Care Plan for Public Services in Health Centers at the national level,” he said.

Speaking to Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), Ramírez indicated that the objective is to reactivate all services that have to do with water, electricity, the operation of ventilation systems in strategic areas of health centers, among other essential services.

The Minister of Health discussed which are the prioritized centers that require immediate attention in terms of public service.

In addition, he noted that these decisions will be deployed in the coming days, once the plan is reviewed by the president in charge.

“To make them fully operational and guarantee that right to life, that right to service that a health center must have and each of its spaces are fully operational to guarantee a better service,” he said.

For her part, the Minister of Health, Nuramy Gutiérre z, stated that these actions will have a positive impact, especially in hospitals that have a large number of people attending and whose facilities have been in operation for many years, so they require intervention in everything that has to do with roof waterproofing, constant supply of drinking water, good disposal of wastewater, elevators and power plants.

He said that according to the priorities in the main health facilities, the plan will probably begin in Caracas, which has a concentration of large hospitals.

“And we believe that sooner rather than later we can be giving you the good news that all these services have been recovered, put into operation permanently and properly for the enjoyment of our people, which is ultimately our objective,” he said.
