The Colombian airline Avianca announced the activation of its Bogotá-Maracaibo route, starting on August 28, which will run daily.

It will use A320 equipment with capacity for 180 seats, which will provide the possibility of mobilizing 2,500 passengers per week. It will be Avianca's second destination in Venezuela, which has already been covering Bogotá-Caracas since last February, when it resumed operations to Maiquetía International Airport, according to the local press.

For more than six decades, Avianca connected Venezuela with its route network, consolidating a key connection for the mobility of people and opportunities.

This year, when it restarts operations with Venezuela, the route is once again integrated into the airline's network to connect Caracas and Maracaibo starting in August, with 83 destinations in 28 countries.
