Banda Marcial de Caracas celebrated its 161st anniversary in Plaza Bolívar

In the spaces of the historic Plaza Bolívar, the 161st anniversary of the Caracas Marching Band was celebrated, when the audience enjoyed an emblematic repertoire that reaffirmed cultural identity and national sovereignty.

During the celebration, a concert was offered that covered a timeline with iconic pieces from the Venezuelan musical heritage.

The activity also included a tribute to six members of the group for their years of service, with careers spanning between 14 and 30 years.

Founded in the 19th century, this group has been a reference in the interpretation and dissemination of Venezuelan musical works, consolidating itself as a pillar in the preservation of the country's sound tradition. His role has been key in the promotion of cultural values and in the training of generations of musicians.
