A total of 275,650 tests for laboratories were delivered by the Ministry of Health to the health authorities of Barinas to strengthen the Hospital Network and the Specialized Care Network in the entity.

According to a press release from the health portfolio, this amount is sufficient to cover care for the last quarter of 2025.

The state director of the bioanalysis coordination of Barinas, Roger Hinojosa, explained that the provision is crucial for strengthening services, detailing that the distribution includes essential reagents for carrying out complete hematology tests, blood chemistry and coagulation tests, among other vital tests.

The provision became effective in several strategic health centers such as the Dr. Luis Razetti hospital in Barinas, Dr. Francisco Lazo Martí, Ntra. Señora del Carmen, Dr. Manuel Heredia, Dr. José León Tapia, the Br. Rafael Rangel, the Dr. Fortoul Saavedra Specialized Popular Clinic and the Cuatricentennial Specialized Popular Clinic.

To this end, Hinojosa added that laboratories in the municipalities of Obispos and Arismendi were also favored, “ensuring that at the close of the last quarter of this year, care will continue to be provided to people from laboratories in hospitals and specialized popular clinics.”
