With the firm objective of consolidating the country's food sovereignty, the Bolivarian Government carried out the delivery of agrarian instruments in the state of Barinas.
During the activity, the authorities carried out a direct inspection of the legume harvest corresponding to the 2025-2026 cycle, validating the efforts of producers in the field.
The governor of the entity, Adán Chávez, said that the success of the current Bay Bean harvest, combined with the ambitious projection of growing more than 68,000 hectares of cereals by 2026, “shows us that we are a power that never stops”. This increase in the planting area represents a strategic step for strengthening the agri-food engine in the plain region.
The regional president stressed that the current productive model focuses on economic independence. “Through these policies, imports are being replaced by domestic production, working the land with the hands of our young people and our producer associations.”
The governor reaffirmed the ideological and social commitment to the Venezuelan countryside and stressed that, under the guidelines of the National Executive and the historical principles that govern agrarian policy, the people's right to food is guaranteed. “Under the legacy of Zamora and Chávez, we continue to sow love and reap sovereignty!”
