Bolivar State welcomes more than 600,000 people during carnival

More than 600,000 people visit Bolívar state in connection with the Carnival holiday, according to the entity's governor, Yulisbeth García, at the end of the thanksgiving mass for the ladies celebrated this Sunday.

“Today, the thanksgiving mass was held for the madamas, a religious event that dates back more than 30 years and with which we formally begin carnival activities,” he said.

He pointed out that “in the state to more than 600,000 people in the 11 municipalities, in El Callao alone we have more than 45,000 people who are celebrating the Viva Venezuela Carnival for Peace and Love,” he said.

The local president added that “we celebrate with great joy in a festive and secure environment with more than 4,500 officials deployed throughout the territory of the entity, guaranteeing the safety of those who visit us and those who live here.”

García thanked the national and regional institutions for the work done on the fantasies that participate in the troupes, as well as the tourist service providers, cultivators and all those who are related to the conference.
