Bolivarian Government activated 11 health care points in La Guaira for primary care (+Asueto)

The Bolivarian Government activated 11 health care points in the state of La Guaira for the primary care of visitors and residents as part of Operation Holy Week 2026.

This was reported by the state's Single Health Authority, Nelare Bermúdez, from Catia la Mar, in Candilejas Beach, during the activation of the service post.

He also highlighted that there are more than 60 professionals from the National Public Health System (SPNS) willing to guarantee the immediate attention of their own and visitors during the holidays of the Major Week.

“We are present in every recreational space to ensure that our people have immediate medical assistance. In addition, we maintain active vaccination points in these areas to continue strengthening the population's immune system,” said the regional authority, according to a press release from the Ministry of Health.

He also emphasized that the hospital network in the state of La Guaira is 100% operational 24 hours a day. *The healthcare centers have specialized personnel and the necessary supplies to respond to any emergency that may arise during this vacation period,” he said.

In this regard, the regional health authority took the opportunity to call for public awareness of the importance of preventive measures against high temperatures, such as constant hydration, healthy diet and protection against UV rays.

These days of care are carried out by the Ministry of Popular Power for Health (MPPS) throughout the national territory, under the direction of Nuramy Gutiérrez, in order to guarantee protection and timely care to the entire population during the Major Week.
