As part of preventive actions before the arrival of the rainy cycle, the Bolivarian Government activated a plan to clean more than 11 kilometers of hydrographic basins in the Leonardo Infante municipality, in Valle de la Pascua, in the state of Guárico.

Regarding the plan, Mayor Ramón Piñango said that the project seeks to mitigate flood risks and guarantee the safety and well-being of the population.

The operation includes the distribution of heavy machinery in strategic areas, with special attention to Quebrada La Danta and Quebrada La Pascua.

In addition, both the Urban Development Directorate and the Public Services Directorate are deployed in the different areas, carrying out cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the correct flow of the channels.

Piñango highlighted the importance of this plan in the main basins and sub-basins of the municipality, stressing that these actions are essential to prevent possible floods and protect the most vulnerable communities during the rainy season.

This plan reinforces its commitment to risk prevention and management, once again demonstrating its dedication to protecting its people and ensuring a safer territory prepared for climate challenges.
