Bolivarian Government activated La Tostós agreement in Mérida

These actions are part of President Nicolás Maduro's instructions to guarantee drinking water service to Venezuelans

Workers from the Ministry of the People's Power for Water Care activated the La Tostós aqueduct in the state of Mérida in order to guarantee the water system in the Sucre municipality of the Andean entity.

These construction works on the dam benefited more than 4,000 inhabitants of the San Juan parish.

The president of Aguas de Mérida Hydrology, Leida Márquez, reported that the start-up of this infrastructure registered a production of 13.5 liters of water per second at the Villa Libertad water treatment plant, according to a press release from the Government of the Andean entity.

He indicated that these actions are part of President Nicolás Maduro's instructions to guarantee drinking water service to Venezuelans.
