Bolivarian Government activated the Cayapa Plan to combat dengue fever in Yaracuy

The mayor of the San Felipe municipality of Yaracuy state, Rogger Daza, reported that, in coordination with representatives of the health sector and the People's Power, the deployment of the Cayapa Plan in the state of Yaracuy, began as part of the sustained fight against dengue fever.

In this regard, he specified that the operation began in the community of Jobito, in the Simón Rodríguez Commune, with the active participation of the Mayor's Office, a regional epidemiology team and community leaders.

The activities included the disposal of water in tanks, elimination of mosquito breeding sites, the cachivache operation to remove objects that could accumulate water, vaccination with toxoid and an awareness talk to promote prevention, according to the Yaracuy Government press.

He added that the deployment schedule will cover all communities in the municipality in the coming days.
