Regional government authorities initiated the strategic plan for the recovery and preservation of natural areas located in the coastal strip of Carabobo, an initiative that aims to strengthen the protection of marine-coastal ecosystems.

This activation is organized by the governance of the entity through the Secretariat of Spatial Planning, Environment and Natural Resources (SOTARN).

During a working day in the municipality of Puerto Cabello, held at the Port Authority of the National Institute of Aquatic Spaces (INEA), regional authorities and representatives of the Ministry of Popular Power for Ecosocialism defined joint actions focused on environmental education, coastal sanitation and the control of invasive species.

“These actions are part of the 'Costa Viva' project, an articulated work between the regional government, national institutions, ecological organizations and communities, which reflects the firm commitment to the preservation of the environment, the promotion of sustainable development and the application of public policies that protect our natural spaces,” emphasized the Secretary of Land Management, Environment and Natural Resources, Alan Delgado.
