In order to consolidate comprehensive social development and citizen security, the Minister of the People's Power for Ecological Mining Development and Basic Industries, Héctor Silva, led a strategic meeting with the main security agencies in the state of Bolivar.

The meeting made it possible to define new protection measures for the Orinoco Mining Arc, along the lines established by the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez.

The exchange of strategies served to promote civic-military-police fusion and formalize the structure of the Miner Care Points (PAM). These centers have the mission of ensuring the territorial reorganization and productive promotion of extraction areas, based on the four strategic areas of the Mining Arc.

During his speech, Minister Silva stressed the importance of cohesion between institutions. “All the security agencies present contribute to the development and organization of the mining sector, which is key to the growth of mining institutions. You, with your experience and together, can strengthen protection for small mining,” he said.

He emphasized that the priority is to establish a political and operational plan that directly benefits the mining sector, which is projected to be one of the fundamental axes for the nation's economic growth.

The Bolivarian Government reaffirms its commitment to responsible and organized mining activity. Working together with security agencies seeks to maintain ecological balance and ensure the social welfare of the Venezuelan people in productive areas.

The day was attended by the Deputy Minister of Other Strategic Non-Gold Minerals, Jesús Mieres; the vice-president of MINERVEN, Jackson Esteila; and the commander of REDI Guayana, M/G Wilfredo Medrano.

In addition, the commanders of ZODI Guayana Esequiba and ZODI Bolívar attended, together with representatives of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC); the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB); the National Police, the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (SEBIN); the DGCIM and the Mining Arc Protection Group of the Orinoco.
