The Bolivarian Government, through a Multidisciplinary Team of the Ministry of Popular Power for Water, maintains a deployment in the mountainous areas of the Carayaca parish to consolidate the construction of the new Cataure aqueduct.

This work is being carried out on hard-to-reach land, whose main objective is to restore and optimize the supply of drinking water for 12,000 families belonging to 12 communities.

To date, the team has successfully installed 2.5 kilometers of 10-inch diameter pipe, out of a planned total of 5 km.

During the last week, the project received a significant boost with the addition of 600 additional meters of pipeline, which are being moved to the sites where they will be attached to the network.

In the same way, as part of the maintenance work, 5 kilometers of canals have been cleared and comprehensive sanitation works are being carried out on the Cataure Dam. These actions ensure that the flow flows unobstructed from the main catchment, ensuring operational efficiency and a better response capacity of the aqueduct to meet population demand once the interconnections are completed.

These works are part of the Bolivarian Government's commitment to strengthen public services, responding directly to the needs of Popular Power through structural solutions that guarantee the social welfare and development of our communities.
