Bolivarian Government advances in the recovery of the Maestranza César Girón de Maracay

Workers from various specialties of the Bolivarian Government are carrying out the recovery of the Maestranza César Girón de Maracay in Aragua. To date, the work presents advances in the roof and drainage system.
The project is based on the restoration and rehabilitation of this important historic infrastructure. The objective is to rescue its original values, through different works that highlight the maximum potential of this famous bullfighting scene.
The restoration and rehabilitation of the Maestranza César Girón has a team of engineers and experts in the area of heritage who ensure that the originality of the work of the distinguished architect Carlos Raúl Villanueva is maintained.
Among the advances made in this work are the total replacement of roofs, installation of waterproofing roofs, and Creole tiles, as well as the adaptation of the drainage system and the comprehensive recovery of capitals and arches. In addition, the areas of the three mosques have been cleared according to the original design to allow the free movement of users within these spaces.
