The Vice President of Public Works and Services, Jorge Márquez, together with a multidisciplinary team, carried out a technical inspection of the structural works being carried out in the Manglarote sector, located in the state of Apure, with the objective of rehabilitating the roads affected by the floods recorded in recent months.

In this area of the municipality of San Fernando, civil works will be developed for the construction of a strategic variant and a retaining wall aimed at curbing river erosion, reports the Ministry of People's Power for Transportation through its Instagram account

In addition, under the Rain Prevention Plan 2026, submerged steel structures will be removed to make way for complementary works that guarantee safety and passability in the sector.

This comprehensive approach is the result of carrying out risk mitigation works, instructed by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, and continued by the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez to effectively counteract the effects of rainfall in the llanera entity.

Earlier, Public Works and Transportation authorities also toured the José Cornelio Muñoz suspension bridge, in Bruzual, as part of preventive actions to protect the stability of this structural link to the state of Barinas.
