Bolivarian Government authorities oversee sports facilities in Táchira

Bolivarian Government authorities visited four sports facilities located in the Pueblo Nuevo Sports Complex, in San Cristóbal, Táchira.

The technical methodological director of high performance of the Ministry of Popular Power for Sports, Yarelis Santos, who led the visit, assured that they are complying with an agenda that is part of the guidelines of the Minister of Popular Power for Sports, Franklin Cardillo.

“We inspected the infrastructure of the facilities in the state of Táchira, which will serve for future gatherings of delegations that will compete in the Santo Domingo 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games, the Santa Fe South American Games and the adapted sports competitions,” Santos reported, press release by the Ministry of Sport.

In the company of the authorities of the regional sports institute of the state of Táchira, he inspected the training spaces for boxing, gymnastics, kickboxing and kempo.

In this regard, he added that this supervision seeks to provide comprehensive care to athletes in the rallies and preparation of the national teams with the objective that they have the best conditions to “enhance Venezuelan sports in their international competitions.”

Santos attended the archery selection held in San Cristóbal, in which the names of the athletes who will represent the tricolor in the upcoming South American Youth Games Panama 2026 were defined.
