Bolivarian Government authorities supervised road works in Portuguesa

The Minister of Popular Power for Transport, Aníbal Coronado, accompanied by the governor of the Portuguese state, Primitivo Cedeño, inspected the work carried out by the Transportation and Governance portfolio in the entity.

The first point of the visit was the bridge over the Acarigua River on the José Antonio Páez Highway, Araure municipality, where more than 70,000 inhabitants benefited from this important project, guaranteeing the safety and mobility of the communal circuits: Buchy River Industrial District, Los Pasos de Bolívar, Producción Integral Dos Ríos and Esperanza Viva, who thanked the Bolivarian Government for this rehabilitation, and emphasized their commitment to the development of the country.

The authorities then reviewed the maintenance carried out on the bridge over the Quebrada Armo, on which three streams are being built to reinforce the stability of the structure, according to a press release from the Ministry of Transport.

In turn, they verified the rehabilitation of Troncal 005, José Antonio Páez Highway, where the working class remains deployed to maintain the asphalt road with more than 9,000 tons placed, strengthening the entity's connectivity with the state of Lara.

Finally, they inspected the work carried out by the technical teams on the La Lucía Bridge, located on the Araure - Acarigua - Barquisimeto highway, a project aimed at the mobility of 140,000 inhabitants, in search of safe transit to the state of Lara, allowing the economic development of the Western region.

During the day, the leader of the Transportation portfolio pointed out that these works are possible thanks to the People's Power, who are the guarantors of communicating to government authorities about the existing needs in each community, while calling for the Popular Consultation on March 8, which strengthens the projects undertaken by the National Executive.
