Bolivarian Government awarded 491 agrarian titles to producers in Mérida

The governor of the state of Mérida, Arnaldo Sánchez, led the award of 491 agricultural titles to the producers of the Grano de Oro Fund, located in the municipality of Tulio Febres Cordero (Nueva Bolivia), Independencia parish, together with the peasant councils of the area.
This delivery formalizes the regularization of more than 2,400 hectares destined for agricultural production in the Andean region.
During the day, Sánchez highlighted the leading participation of women and young people from the Merida countryside, who represent 40% and 30%, respectively, of the total number of beneficiaries who received the agrarian title to strengthen their family and communal production units.
The regional coordinator of the National Land Institute (INTI) in Mérida, Manaure Vera, highlighted the organizational work that accompanies this delivery. “Since last year, on instructions from the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, continued by the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez, we have advanced in the peasant organization for the creation of the National Peasant Union Ezequiel Zamora, with special attention to the incorporation of women and young people into peasant councils,” he explained.
