From the Achaguas municipality in the Apure state, the Bolivarian Government began the Vaccination Cycle Against Foot-and-Mouth Disease 2025, with the participation of producers and livestock associations. The state has been leading the percentage of animals vaccinated nationally for four consecutive years.

This year, the goal is to immunize more than 1,500,000 animals, consolidating Apure as a reference in this key work for the promotion of livestock exports, regional press reported.

The initiative is part of the “P” of production of the Plan Pasión por Apure, aligned with the 7T guided by President Nicolás Maduro. The Bolivarian Government guarantees animal health and urges producers to vaccinate their herds, thus reinforcing the protection of the livestock sector and contributing to economic growth in the region.
