The Bolivarian Government is building a road variant in the La Negra sector in the state of Guárico, which connects with Apure.

This infrastructure will guarantee traffic flow while the definitive rehabilitation of Troncal 2 is being carried out, which will be 800 meters long by ten meters wide.

The governor of Guárico, Donald Donaire, explained that by activating this variant, they will be able to start, safely and without interruption, the total recovery work of Troncal 2.

“He indicated that this work, more than a path, is a bridge to progress. It will allow us to reactivate economic life, improve transportation and, most importantly, guarantee a better quality of life for all our families,” he emphasized.

For his part, the mayor of Los Esteros de Camaguán, Emilio Ávila, assured that work is being done in the “fastest and most expeditious” way possible to complete the work.

“We are in constant coordination with the National Government to ensure that the people of Guárico can continue to move to San Fernando de Apure and Amazonas,” he said.

The culmination of this variant is the initial step for the definitive recovery of Troncal 2, a vital artery for the mobilization of people and the distribution of goods in the plain region.
