Representatives of the Ministry of People's Power for Transport, the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture and the National Institute of Aquatic Spaces (INEA) held a working table with the objective of coordinating actions aimed at strengthening the care of seafarers and optimizing administrative processes in the sector.

The day was attended by the Deputy Minister of Water Transport, David Quintana, who, under the guidance of Minister Jacqueline Fanía, discussed together with the institutions involved the necessary mechanisms to advance the national consultation on the simplification of procedures, reported Venezolana de Televisión.

During the meeting, proposals aimed at modernizing procedures related to fishing and aquaculture activities were evaluated, with the purpose of offering more efficient care to workers in the sector.

The authorities emphasized that this institutional structure seeks to promote more agile and accessible processes, for the benefit of those who carry out productive activities in the country's aquatic spaces.

With these actions, the bodies involved are making progress in building mechanisms to optimize public management and strengthen the development of the national fishing and aquaculture sector.
