Bolivarian Government deployed vaccination day in La Guaira after earthquakes in June

The National Government deployed a vaccination day in the state of La Guaira, specifically in the Soublette and Maiquetía parishes, in order to immunize the population and prevent the onset of diseases, after the double earthquake that occurred last June 24.
According to the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), in the middle of the day, health personnel treated children and adults where the doses of key vaccines were administered, including Pentavalent, Tetanus-Diphtheria Toxoid, Oral Polio (OPV), Inactivated Polio (IPV), SRP (Measles, Rubella and Mumps) and Yellow Fever.
Daniela González and Bretzi Romero participated in the approach from strategic points such as the Maiquetía Civil Headquarters and the Pariata sector, with the purpose of ensuring direct epidemiological protection of the inhabitants and completing childhood vaccination schemes in the region.
One of the nurses in charge of the operation highlighted: “We are touring each community so that no child or adult is left without their corresponding dose, especially after the seismic emergency we are experiencing.”
The purpose of the measure is to strengthen immune coverage in an area with a high population density and a constant flow of visitors.
