President Delcy Rodríguez mourns the death of the rescue dog Quino from the Spanish brigade

The President of the Republic, Delcy Rodriguez expressed her deepest regret at the death of Quiro, a Labrador rescue dog belonging to the Spanish brigade, who participated in the search and rescue efforts deployed in Venezuela after the double earthquake.

“Quino helped locate people trapped under the rubble, demonstrating heroic courage and instinct at the most critical times,” said the National President, from the urban planning firm Ciudad Tiuna, in the Simón Bolívar sector, located in the El Valle parish of the Libertador municipality, in Caracas, where she granted 16 apartments.

Rodríguez said that after his day in Venezuela, Quino arrived very exhausted, the veterinarians did everything possible to save him, but unfortunately he died.

“Our heart goes out to Quino. Our thanks to the rescuers from Spain and from all the countries that mobilized to Venezuela during the toughest hours to extend their hand of solidarity to our people, thanks and a hug,” said the Head of State.
