The Bolivarian Government deployed two days of medical care in the state of Aragua. The first ones were developed in the Nuestra Señora de Belén State Educational Unit, in the Baseball sector of Las Tejerías, where 312 health benefits were provided, and in the Virgen de la Caridad and Simoncito Antonio Ricaurte preschool in Camatagua, where 13 preschool boys and girls were treated, with dental examinations, visual evaluations and nutritional control to ensure their optimal physical development.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Health, in Las Tejerías, the day focused on preventive care and early diagnosis, with the purpose of ensuring that the 74 boys and girls treated receive timely medical follow-up, including free general medicine and pediatric consultations, as well as 148 diagnostic tests for the control of hypertension, weight and height.
In the approach, possible cardiovascular risks were detected and nutritional status was monitored, thus strengthening the comprehensive protection of children.
In Camatagua, the strategy focused on the comprehensive health of children, incorporating dental checkups for the detection and control of caries, visual acuity tests and anthropometric measurements, in order to ensure that preschool children grow up with solid foundations for their physical and cognitive development.
