The Sectorial Vice President of Social and Territorial Socialism and Minister for Education, Héctor Rodríguez, held a meeting with the Social Cabinet to review the results of the more than 3,000 days of comprehensive care that have been carried out in various communities of the country. These activities have been carried out continuously for the past 12 weeks.
According to a report in the newspaper Úlmas Noticias, del Rodríguez highlighted that at this meeting they also evaluated the next actions aimed at strengthening the National Public Health System.
Among the highlights, the application process of young people living in communities to study at the University of Health Sciences was addressed.
The objective of this initiative is for students, once trained, to join health care teams in their own territories.
With this measure, the Bolivarian Government seeks to guarantee the strengthening of the health system at the local level and to ensure healthcare coverage in the areas served.
