A total of 80 apartments were delivered in Maturín, Monagas state, to families affected by the double earthquake of last June 24, as part of the Venezuela Renace Plan, as reported by Governor Ernesto Luna, who stressed that each home represents a new beginning for homes that lost their spaces after the earthquake.

During the award ceremony, Luna highlighted that the initiative responds to the guidelines of the President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, and the Ministry of Popular Power for Habitat and Housing. “We are providing a housing solution to this beautiful family, who, as a result of the situation that occurred on June 24, today with God's blessing and with the support of our president, is receiving their new home,” he said.

The regional president stressed that each beneficiary family will be immediately incorporated into work, productive and educational activities. “We have already registered it so that they can begin their educational process and return to their activities,” he said, while sending a message of support to those affected and recognizing the resilience of the communities.

One of the beneficiaries, Nailet Ruiz, thanked the attention received during the process. “I can't thank you so much for the cordiality and kindness, and the support we have received,” he said.
